I recently got into racquetball and running on a daily basis. I been using my vans which seemed to provide support when I tried them on. However since I been playing and running for about 2 weeks, the more active I become the more my shoes feel like they provide no arch support which is weird because when I put them on they feel fine.

Anyways I need to get some new shoes for when I play and run. I was thinking of nike. But I don’t know what kind of shoes to get such as running, cross trainers… etc..

So how am I supposed to find a good pair since my vans feel fine until I begin to get active??

I am 5′7” with size 10 dogs so it’s kinda hard for me to find a women’s pair that fit perfect. I run and play outdoors and if you don’t know much about racquet ball.. it’s a lot of jumping shuffling side to side on the court.. I dunno if that info is relevant to choosing shoes.

Any suggestions as to what type and what brand.???
any input would be a great help

Finding a good way to spend your precious time is sometimes complicated, but with a good recreation center, you will be able to get the much needed quality time for yourself while spending it with your family.

”A place to call home” is how the City of Henderson, Nevada, is recognized and famous for. The second largest city in Nevada, it is proud to be a small town and living it like the people in the “big” cities.

Cited as one of the best places to retire, you will find numerous activities in the city that will definitely keep you coming back for more. They have the largest recreational facility in the area, the largest outdoor amphitheater, and Nevada’s scenic Bird Preserve.

It is even ranked as the 20th out of 100 places in the United States, being the best place to live in and 6th in the best walkable cities in America. Not to mention the fact that it is just a few miles away from the entertainment capital of the world – Las Vegas!

City of Henderson has a diverse selection of sports activities, making the city a well-recognized area for their sports programs. They have programs for all age groups so it will not be hard finding an activity that will cater to your interests. You can enjoy both outdoor activities and indoor activities all year round.

Thus, the City of Henderson features six state of the art recreation facilities. The largest being the Multigenerational Facility at Liberty Pointe. The facilities may offer some or all of the following features but it is best to contact the center to be sure.

Game Rooms

These game rooms are made in order to accommodate anyone. They may feature video games on a wide-screen TV, a pool table, foosball, ping-pong, and air hockey. You can also check the time and availability of the facility for these activities.

Multi-Fitness Room

It is equipped with state of the art treadmills, stationary bicycles, stair steps, and resistance weight machines in order to ensure a full body workout. Some centers may have an indoor walking or running tract.

Open Gym

Gymnasiums are available to accommodate various court games. Check for the activity schedules and guidelines.

Party Connections

There may be designated areas where a party can be held. You can inquire about the availability and guidelines when planning a bash.

Romper Room

If you have no one to leave your children with while you go to the gym or participate in the classes offered, you can leave your child in the romper room where they will be taken care of by qualified supervisors.

Racquetball Courts/ Wallyball

Some centers may have the facility available. Although some may not have one, it is still best to inquire and place a reservation in order to ensure that you will be able to play.

Rock Climbing Wall

Supervised by skilled trainers, this activity will ensure you a full body workout while giving you a natural high.

Sauna/Steam/Locker Rooms/Showers

Some centers may have sauna and steam rooms and family showers available for those participating in any programs. Some provide basic necessities such as soap and towels. Inquire about the rules and regulations applied by the center.

Swim & Trim Pass

This pass may give you access to several facilities in the center at a discounted rate. Ask about details in your chosen center.

With the proper information at your fingertips, you can now select from the six recreational centers in the city.

Whitney Ranch Recreation Center

The Whitney Ranch Aquatic Complex is equipped with an indoor competition room and a beach entry outdoor pool with water slides. It is just adjacent to the Whitney Ranch Recreation/Aquatic Complex. The Whitney Ranch Recreation Center is considered as the 4th full-service center within the city.
